Local Professional Development Committee
The Midwest Regional Educational Service Center Local Professional Development Committee (MRESC LPDC) consists of a joint agency committee that utilizes K12 Professional Development Tracker for their administrators and teachers from each agency to submit IPDPs and PD Requests through the year.
It is imperative that each educator has an approved IPDP on file with the MRESC LPDC
The ISSUE DATE indicated on your license is to be used as the starting point for professional development for the purpose of certificate renewal and converting to a license.
Requesting LPDC Services
Those outside of the MRESC LPDC may request help in the renewal process of their 5-year professional license under special circumstances.
Recipients must follow the regulations listed below.
Non-member does not live/work within the ESC’s three counties, they must go to their county ESC.
Non-member does live/work in the ESC’s three counties, but was never part of the consortium will be charged a $75.00 fee per license cycle.
Non-member does live/work within the three county ESC, was part of the consortium prior to retirement/resignation will be charged a $50.00 fee per license cycle.
Submission of PD will be prior to the May meeting of the expiration year
Checks will need to be made payable to Midwest Regional ESC. In the memo line of the check the recipient needs to write LPDC funds.

Meeting Dates
The Committee will meet on or around the first Friday in the months of: September, November, January, March, and May.
The Committee will also meet around the middle of June, if necessary. Committee member schedules will dictate the exact dates.
Dates will be made available on the LPDC webpage at the start of each academic year.
